  • Experience working with media and marketing measurement solutions and approaches, including Media Mix Modeling, incrementality studies and brand measurement.
  • Experience collaborating with media agencies across various departments, including communications planning and strategy, AV, and digital teams.
  • Experience building relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., internal teams) and external partners (e.g., agencies, clients).
Preferred qualifications:
  • 6 years of experience managing relationships with customers or agencies and service partners at an executive level.
  • 4 years of experience working in the Consumer Packed Goods industry or product area.
  • 2 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization.
  • Experience in media sales or brand management.
  • Experience in a leadership role.

As an Industry Manager, you will lead on one of the Retail team’s most sophisticated, and significant customers. You will leverage your understanding of the retail industry and Google's advertising solutions to help this client achieve their business objectives and drive meaningful growth in the dynamic digital landscape. You will require extensive experience of performance and brand solutions and a developed understanding of the wider competitive landscape. Furthermore, you will need exceptional influencing skills to navigate a large business with various range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and executive partner stakeholders. Develop a comprehensive understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success.
  • Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
  • Build an in-depth knowledge of how Google Advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
