Job summary

Optio Systems Ltd. is seeking a hands-on, web-focused .NET Developer to build, support and test web apps for our industrial control platform.

You’ll start with full-stack development and grow into automation, using Selenium and Azure DevOps to raise test coverage and release confidence. You’ll own features from spec through deployment, working in a Microsoft environment to turn plant data into intuitive web interfaces.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building web applications with ASP.NET Core or .NET Framework and C#.
• Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational database schemas.
• Full-stack capabilities from database through to UI with strong problem solving.
• Collaborative team player with clear communication and initiative.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium and Azure DevOps.
• Experience working in a Microsoft development environment (Visual Studio).
• Exposure to industrial control systems or manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop features end-to-end from database to UI and front-end behaviour.
• Work with control/automation engineers to translate plant processes into web tools and dashboards.
• Support deployments, troubleshooting, and diagnostics for web components in live environments.
• Progressively take ownership of test automation processes and standards as knowledge grows.
