Job summary

A leading refrigeration contractor in the UK is seeking an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Engineer in London & South East. This role involves troubleshooting and maintaining industrial refrigeration systems across various sectors, including food processing and pharmaceuticals. The ideal candidate will have strong ammonia experience and F-Gas certification. Competitive salary range: £38,000 – £48,000, benefits include a company van, healthcare, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in service and maintenance of industrial refrigeration systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

  • Service, maintain, and fault-find on refrigeration and cooling systems.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on installations.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance.

Skills

Service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial refrigeration systems
Strong fault-finding skills on mechanical and electrical systems
Excellent communication and customer service skills

Education

City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning

Tools

F-Gas certification
