A multinational construction firm in the UK is seeking two Undergraduate Engineers for a one-year placement in Leeds. We have an exciting opportunity for two Undergraduate Engineers to join our Process Engineering team for a one-year placement in Leeds or Preston.
Sitting within the Operations function the UK Process Engineering team take the lead in the development implementation and improvement of the equipment and processes across all the UK sites ensuring they are operating safely and efficiently.
The process engineering team based at Leeds drive the development of capital and operational development projects across process and packing plant used in the manufacture of sealants and adhesives. This includes the specification installation and commissioning of an extensive capital investment programme and working with cross functional teams to improve performance of existing equipment to reduce cost improve reliability and maximise efficiency.
You will work alongside an experienced team of process engineers who will ensure you have a rewarding and diverse placement year that gives you hands on experience that will stand you in good stead in the world of work after graduation. The team at Leeds has included an industrial placement student for the last 4 years all of whom have taken part and lead a range of automation efficiency improvement and sustainability projects throughout their year long placement.
