Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd is offering an Industrial Placement Antenna Engineer based in Luton. You will contribute to high‑performance antenna design, backed by EM simulations and hands‑on RF testing within a defence-focused engineering team.

You’ll spend about half of your year on a cohort-led project, developing project management and teamwork skills while gaining exposure to multiple engineering disciplines and technologies. This placement is designed to bridge studies and a professional career.

Qualifications

• Design and develop antenna solutions for defence platforms.
• Use EM tools to model antenna performance.
• Develop technologies for frequencies up to 40GHz and beyond.
• Conduct RF testing and validation with specialist equipment.

Responsibilities
