Job summary

Imech Engineering Ltd is seeking experienced Welders for a major industrial construction project in North Wales. You will weld large-diameter steel pipes to approved procedures, adhering to quality and safety standards on a demanding site.

Candidates must have ECITB NVQ Level 3 in Welding or equivalent, CCNSG safety, bolt-on safety training (1 day minimum), first aid, and proven large-bore welding experience. A mandatory test is included for shortlisted applicants.

Qualifications

• ECITB-approved NVQ Level 3 in Welding or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience welding large-diameter steel pipes on industrial projects.
• UK right to work and safety certifications (CCNSG, bolt-on training, first aid).

Responsibilities

• Weld large-diameter steel piping systems to project specs.
• Adhere to WPS, ensure weld quality and inspection readiness.
• Support safety procedures and work within multidisciplinary teams.
• Partake in the mandatory pre-employment welding test.
