Job summary

Enigma Industrial Services is hiring for industrial Painters/Painting Supervisors on a major project at the Sellafield site in Cumbria. Applicants must hold ICATS or an equivalent painting qualification and a valid CSCS card.

Eligibility to obtain site clearance is required, with previous experience in highly controlled environments preferred. These are permanent full-time roles, working 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed to support ongoing projects.

• Carry out painting and coating tasks safely following site rules.

Job description

We are hiring industrial Painters/Painting Supervisors to join our team on a major project at the Sellafield nuclear decommissioning, waste management, and material storage site in Cumbria. Applicants must have ICATS or equivalent painting qualifications and a valid CSCS card. Site clearance is desirable but not essential; however, all applicants must be eligible to obtain clearance. Previous experience gained from working in a similar highly controlled environment is preferred.

The vacancies are permanent full-time roles, working 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime as required to support ongoing project(s). The pay rates are in accordance with the on-site CIJC Agreement.

Reporting to an Enigma Industrial Services Team Leader, you will be instrumental in planning and completing scheduled work along with supporting the delivery of site excellence for Health & safety and quality compliance. You will have relevant knowledge and skills, including professional competency in preparation and application methodology.

General Responsibilities include:

• Carrying out work in a safe manner by following site rules and regulations.
• Appreciation of industry-standard safe working practices, including permit-to-work systems, COSHH, risk assessments and accident/incident reporting.
• Ensure that all work is undertaken within the job holder’s own level of demonstrated competence.
