Job description

MRF/Industrial Night Cleaner - Rotherham

£30,180.80 per annum

Working Pattern: Monday-Thursday 20:00-06:00 and Friday 21:00-01:00

In this role it will be your responsibility to maintain our equipment by ensuring cleaning is carried out regularly and blockages removed in an efficient way allowing our operation to function at its peak capacity.

Accountability is key in everything we do, and this role is no different. You will be accountable for carrying out basic first-line maintenance of equipment such as safely removing and replacing guarding equipment to facilitate cleaning.

Safety is at the centre of everything we do here. Joining our Night shift team will mean liaising closely with other operational and maintenance colleagues responsible for other elements of the site, so it can function as an integrated whole, and run at maximum levels of safety, availability and efficiency.

Your key responsibilities

• Ensure the highest level of housekeeping is maintained to ensure Health & Safety and Environmental compliance.
• Working to a set cleaning plan, as well as reacting and adapting to new tasks which may arise daily.
• Ensuring compliance with site environmental permit
• Involvement in best practice and continuous improvement
• Comply with changes to company standards and legislation
• Operation of mobile plant such as FLT/TLT

Essential criteria for this role
