Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is partnering with an industrial client to recruit an Industrial Maintenance Electrician in Rushden, Northamptonshire. You will diagnose faults from electrical drawings on breakdowns across diverse machinery and service PLCs at client sites.

The role offers autonomous work with enhanced overtime and door-to-door pay, plus a company van, health insurance and 25 days holiday. Overtime can be up to 2x, with some overnight stays as needed.

Qualifications

• Breakdown electrical engineer with industrial site background.
• Ability to diagnose faults from electrical drawings.
• Experience servicing PLCs in industrial environments.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Are you an Industrial Electrician or similar with a background working on breakdowns on industrial sites and experience working on breakdown repairs looking for an autonomous role where you can massively boost your earnings through enhanced overtime and door to door pay?
You will be responsible for diagnosing faults from electrical drawings within an industrial environment, visiting client sites in both recycling and agricultural settings, and servicing PLCs. This role will involve occasional working away for a few days at a time, with full expensive paid.
This company were founded over 20 years ago and have steadily earned a reputation for providing excellent service, boasting great staff retention. This company specialise in installation and breakdowns on a wide range of machinery, keeping their client's downtime to a minimum. Off the back of landing more work, they are looking to hire an additional Electrical Breakdown Engineer to keep up with demand.
