Job summary

Involve Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an experienced M&E Health & Safety Manager to lead safety across mechanical and electrical installation works on a major industrial construction project in the South West.

The role covers CDM 2015 compliance, RAMS development, site inspections and delivery of inductions and toolbox talks, with potential progression to further multimillion-pound developments.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH National General Certificate or Construction Certificate, or equivalent.
• Diploma or higher-level qualification in safety is advantageous.
• CSCS Professionally Qualified Person card would be advantageous.
• Experience in M&E or large-scale construction safety.
• Ability to prepare RAMS and conduct site audits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee health and safety across M&E installation works.
• Develop RAMS and site-specific safety plans.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Promote a proactive safety culture with project teams.
• Manage high-risk activities and permit-to-work processes.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks.
• Liaise with clients, principal contractors and authorities.
