Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and industry qualifications.
• Experience in an industrial context as an Electrician.
• Full UK driving license and own transport.
• Willingness to participate in on-call out-of-hours rotation (post-probation).
• Methodical approach with risk assessment skills.
• Professional communication with internal/external stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Electrical repair and maintenance across three Edinburgh area sites: Tranent, Elvingston and Riccarton.
• Install electrical and computer wiring to IEE regulations.
• Portable appliance testing and maintenance of records.
• Maintain electrical equipment and keep records.
• Manage data and work orders in Maximo.
• Advise staff on electrical systems and safety.
• Adjust environmental controls as directed by operations.
• Participate in generator testing and restart procedures.
• Coordinate with plant maintenance for on-call duties.
• Liaise with external service engineers.
• Fault finding and diagnostic testing.
• Work on high voltage equipment if qualified.
