Job summary

WGM Engineering, part of the RSK Group, seeks an Industrial Electrician to join our Electrical and Mechanical Services team on a permanent basis. The role covers site-based work across the Central Belt on client sites, delivering installation, maintenance and testing.

You will work to RAMS, BS7671 and our safety rules, review design information, and collaborate with colleagues, clients and subcontractors to ensure safe, high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Time-served electrical experience via recognised apprenticeship.
• SVQ Level 3 Electrical, 18th Edition and an ECS card.
• Experience in electrical installation, maintenance, testing or construction.
• Experience in industrial, utilities, infrastructure, water, manufacturing, process, energy or similar sites.
• Knowledge of safe systems of work and current electrical regulations.
• Willingness to travel to sites and stay away when required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, test and pre-commission electrical equipment across industrial, utilities and infrastructure sites.
• Fault-find and resolve electrical issues safely and efficiently.
• Deliver electrical construction, compliance and control in line with regulations and client standards.
• Interpret RAMS and prepare daily risk assessments and follow safe systems of work.
• Carry out electrical isolations and follow WGM Safety Rules.
• Review design information and mark as-built drawings for variations.
• Support quality, health and safety and continual improvement across electrical works.
• Collaborate with colleagues, clients, subcontractors and wider delivery teams.
