Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd t/a Russell Taylor Group seeks an Electrical & Instrument Engineer (Electrically Biased Maintenance) for its Ellesmere Port site. The role focuses on reliability, safety and performance of production equipment, and includes planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding on LV electrical systems, motors and PLCs, plus instrumentation calibration and testing to BS 7671.

You will require a time-served apprenticeship, NVQ3 or HNC, 18th Edition BS7671, and ideally CompEx and City &

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Strong fault-finding skills on LV electrical systems, motors and drives.
• Experience with instrumentation, calibration, inspection and testing to BS 7671.

Responsibilities

• Maintain reliability, safety and performance of production equipment.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance and fault-finding tasks.
• Support plant installations, modifications and shutdowns within permit‑to‑work and safe isolation procedures.
