Job summary

Get Staffed Online Recruitment Limited is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, commission and service a varied range of industrial doors across customer sites in Yeovil and surrounding areas.

You will diagnose mechanical faults, perform routine servicing to British Standards, and participate in on-call standby; a valid UK driving licence and CSCS card with IPAF/PASMA are required.

This role offers hands-on installation work and direct representation of the company brand.

Qualifications

• Proven field experience working with industrial doors, loading bays, or automated gates.
• Strong mechanical skills with basic electrical competency.
• Valid UK Driving Licence (clean preferred).
• Valid CSCS Card along with IPAF or PASMA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission a varied range of products including roller shutters, sectional doors, high-speed doors, fire doors and sliding folding doors.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and electrical failures efficiently on site.
• Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance to ensure British Standards compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service, acting as a professional representative of our brand.
• Participate in a shared out-of-hours emergency standby rota.
