Job description

Industrial Door Engineer – South East – Salary up to £45,000 (42.5 hour week)

A national automatic and industrial door systems specialist is looking to expand its industrial door division. The company has been established for over twenty years and is respected in the automatic door, industrial door, gate, and barrier industries. Over the last five years they have accelerated growth by opening two new offices and doubling their Engineer headcount.

We have worked exclusively with this client for many years, placing over 15 Engineers. Almost 90% of these placements are still employed there. Engineers report feeling valued, heard, and supported by the owner.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working on a wide range of industrial door systems
• Up-to-date DHF Diploma, or at minimum studied industry legislation
• CSCS Card
• Preferably NVQ Level 2 in industrial door systems
• Basic electrical wiring and fault finding skills
• Driving licence with no more than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing industrial doors, roller shutters, sectional doors, speed doors, and steel doors
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding
• Providing customers with advice and identifying the best solution for their requirements

Remuneration & Benefits

• Basic salary up to £45,000
• £140 per week out of hours call‑out rota (1 in 5)
• Premium overtime rates
