Responsibilities

  • Sanitising surfaces and maintaining high hygiene standards.
  • Emptying domestic rubbish bins.
  • Cleaning staircases, handrails, and common walkways.
  • Regular cleaning and disinfecting of restrooms.
  • Hoovering carpeted areas.
  • Dusting furniture, ledges, light fixtures, and hard-to-reach areas.
  • Sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.

Job Title: Industrial Cleaner

Hours: 39 hours per week

Permanent Contract:

Pay: £13.50 p/h

The Opportunity

We're looking for an Industrial Cleaner to join our client a globally recognised machinery manufacturer known for quality, innovation, and a strong workplace culture.

In this role

In this role, you'll play a vital part in keeping facilities clean, hygienic, and operating smoothly. You'll work independently across a busy manufacturing site, ensuring high standards are maintained at all times.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Sanitising surfaces and maintaining high hygiene standards
  • Emptying domestic rubbish bins
  • Cleaning staircases, handrails, and common walkways
  • Regular cleaning and disinfecting of restrooms
  • Hoovering carpeted areas
  • Dusting furniture, ledges, light fixtures, and hard-to-reach areas
  • Sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors
Working Hours
  • Monday: 7:30am - 4:00pm
  • Tuesday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
  • Wednesday & Thursday: 7:30am - 5:00pm
  • Friday: 7:30am - 12:00pm (start the weekend early!)
What You'll Need
  • Previous cleaning or industrial cleaning experience (ideal but not essential)
  • Ability to work independently and maintain high performance standards
  • Strong time-management and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality
  • Basic English skills (desirable)
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable)
