Job summary

Denholm Industrial Services Ltd is recruiting experienced Industrial Blaster/Sprayers to join a major project at HMNB Devonport in Plymouth. Start dates throughout May and June. You will deliver anti-corrosion protection to ferrous and non-ferrous surfaces, perform surface preparation, and apply coatings.

BPSS and SC clearance are required; lodge provided (£40 per night); overtime may be needed. This is long-term, stable work in a critical naval dockyard with a skilled team emphasizing safety,

Qualifications

Experience in coatings, blasting, or spraying on industrial projects.
Completion of Train the Painter (Bronze/Silver/Gold), OPITO, or ICATS.
Blasting certification and relevant industrial coatings/blasting experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe working environment in line with site procedures.
Carry out surface preparation (hand, mechanical, blasting).
Assist with blast equipment setup.
Apply coatings via brush, roller, and spray.
Understand coating systems including primers and high-build coatings.
Conduct quality control checks (DFT readings).
Operate access equipment such as scaffolding and mobile platforms.
