East Sussex County Council is seeking a part-time school support worker to assist in the learning and personal development of pupils, with a focus on SEND. The role is 25 hours per week, term-time only, and salary will be pro rata for 39 weeks plus annual leave.
The successful candidate will support playground duties, accompany educational visits, and may administer basic First Aid. A DBS check will be required in line with safeguarding procedures.
Hours of work: 25 hours per week
Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only, working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service.
As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata.
Fixed term for: 12 months
Working Hours: 09.30 – 15.00, Monday to Friday.
