Job summary

EY Tax in London is seeking a motivated professional to join our Financial Services Indirect Tax team. You will advise on VAT and related indirect taxes for clients across the UK, collaborating with EY's global network of specialists.

The role offers exposure to multi-country projects and opportunities to build a broad corporate network within EY’s London office, with a focus on delivering technically sound, commercially driven tax solutions.

Qualifications

• ACA / CA / Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training course / Law qualification / CTA (or breadth of knowledge equivalent to CTA)
• Experience with a large firm (professional services or law firms considered)
• Strong indirect tax technical skills and client-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain tax relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service
• Build relationships within the firm and with clients, identifying opportunities and managing expectations
• Contribute to winning new work by proactively managing existing clients and contributing to winning new clients
• Manage the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical/business-driven approach
• Responsible for day-to-day delivery of client liaison
• Support the activities of the wider team
• Key member of one of the client service groups providing full tax services to a client portfolio
