Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. - A10 is seeking an enthusiastic Indirect Tax Compliance Tax Analyst to join the ITX team in Manchester. The role covers preparation of ITX returns, Intrastat filings, and ITX registrations across jurisdictions, with involvement in audits and data analysis to support tax compliance across the business.

You will own ITX processes, liaise with tax authorities and internal teams, and drive automation and in-housing of tax activities to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in a compliance focused tax role in a multinational or professional organization.
• Knowledge of VAT in EU/UK.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyse and submit ITX returns and related filings.
• Prepare, analyse and submit Intrastat returns as necessary.
• Assist with ITX registrations across various jurisdictions.
• Assist with ITX compliance queries from Amazon businesses.
• Assist in mapping ITX processes and identify improvements.
• Prepare or review month-end ITX account reconciliations.
• Provide internal and external audit support, including data analysis.
• Provide ITX compliance support to colleagues throughout the business and Accounting groups.
• Contribute to and drive preparation of Tax Requirement Documents for tech teams.
• Participate in cross-functional projects with a focus on automation and in-housing.
• Support business growth and onboarding of new entities to ITX compliance processes.
