Reporting to: Group Procurement Manager

Role Overview

ABP UK is seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Indirect Procurement Analyst to support the procurement function across key indirect categories including non-meat ingredients, PPE, laundry services, and utilities. This role will be instrumental in collating, analyzing, and presenting procurement data to drive strategic decision-making and cost efficiencies.

This role offers the chance to develop within a forward-thinking business while applying analytical skills to positively shape profitability and supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collate & present procurement data across indirect spend categories.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to track spend, supplier performance, and savings opportunities.
  • Interpret supplier data and purchasing trends to support strategic procurement direction.
  • Support tender processes and contract management activities.
  • Monitor market trends and pricing fluctuations to inform procurement strategy.
  • Generate regular reports on spend analysis, compliance, and supplier KPIs.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives and cost-saving projects.
  • Collaborate with finance and operational teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline data collection and reporting processes.
  • Support the implementation of digital tools and automation within the procurement function.
  • Deliver supplier performance reviews, uncover cost savings, and improve quality/service.
  • Support supplier negotiations with data-backed insight.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in procurement analytics or a similar data-focused role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Expertise in Power BI for dashboard creation and data presentation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
  • Experience in indirect procurement categories (non-meat ingredients, PPE, laundry, utilities) desirable
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
