Role

Indirect Buyer – Silverstone facility. Responsible for purchasing non-car related goods (indirect) and services for stakeholders across the company. We encourage challenging established thinking and sharing ideas to contribute to our shared success.

Responsibilities

End-to-end purchase of indirect goods and services with proactive communication to stakeholders to achieve effective procurement
Prepare commercial specifications for proposals and coordinate meetings between stakeholders and suppliers
Request quotations, negotiate value with suppliers, review proposals, and provide summary documentation to stakeholders
Award orders with stakeholder agreement and manage all purchase documentation including rising of POs
Report delivery exceptions promptly and liaise between suppliers and stakeholders to resolve supply issues
Assist with invoice discrepancies, ensure compliance with purchasing and finance policies, and develop knowledge of the company ERP system

Requirements

Must have CIPS qualification (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply)
Extensive procurement experience in a fast-paced industry
Proven strong negotiation skills and ERP experience
Effective communication with key stakeholders and suppliers (verbal and written)
Experience with MS applications including Outlook, Excel, and Teams
Flexible, team-focused, able to work in a high-pressure, rapidly changing environment and contribute to an open and inclusive culture
