Job summary

Brompton Bicycle Limited is seeking an Indirect Procurement professional to support our Indirect Procurement Manager with day-to-day activities. You will analyse data, manage supplier relationships and ensure contracts align with business expectations.

The role requires hands-on procurement experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work across internal teams. UK-based with a modern, collaborative environment at Brompton.

Qualifications

• Experience working with suppliers and hands-on procurement
• Strong data analysis and stakeholder management skills
• MS Excel, Word and Teams proficiency
• CIPS certification is desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

As Brompton continues to grow, the need to centralise and control the indirect spend has become increasingly important, and as such Brompton is looking for someone to support the Indirect Procurement Manager with the day-to-day indirect procurement activities. This role will require you to be a self-starter, good at analysing data, whilst ensuring that parts/services and contracts are delivered in line with the business and stakeholders’ expectations.

• Working knowledge of MRP/APS systems
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Word, and Teams.
• CIPS certified, desirable but not essential.

• 9 Day Fortnight - This is a flexible working pattern which individuals can opt in for where an employee works their contractual hours across 9 days instead of 10 days. (i.e. 80 hours across 9 days instead of 10 days). This mean the individual would work an additional hour across Monday to Thursday (across the 2 week period) to gain their Friday off
