Job summary

S&P Dow Jones Indices is seeking an Equities & Digital Assets R&D Analyst to support the research, design and delivery of differentiated index solutions within the Equities & Digital Assets value stream. You will work with commercial, analytical and technology colleagues to translate client needs into scalable index concepts.

The role requires strong numeracy, programming capability, and the ability to work with complex datasets, contributing to research publications, templates and repeatable

Qualifications

• Experience with equity markets, portfolio construction and index design.
• Ability to develop repeatable analytical workflows and back-tests.
• Familiarity with data handling and quantitative research methods.

Responsibilities

• Support the research, design and analysis of new indices within the value stream.
• Translate objectives into testable index design concepts.
• Access, clean, transform and validate complex datasets for research.
• Develop and run backtests and quantitative analyses.
• Apply programming to build robust analytical workflows and tools.
• Assist with methodology drafting, governance and design reviews.
• Prepare charts and materials for internal and client discussions.
