Job summary

Utilita is seeking a Smart Meter Engineer to install and commission smart meters in domestic properties across the UK. You will be the face of the business, championing a customer-first mindset while maintaining exceptional service levels.

With CCN1/CMA1 and MET1 qualifications and at least 12 months of field experience, you’ll work independently, attend Warrington academy training, and collaborate with management and technical teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

• Smart Metering qualifications – CCN1/CMA1 and MET 1 (or equivalent).
• 12 months’ experience as a Smart Meter Engineer.
• In-date UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Install smart meters in domestic properties and commission installations.
• Act as the face of the business with a customer-first mindset.
• Preserve Utilita’s industry-leading customer experience.
• Complete an average of 4 jobs per day across the UK.
• Attend training and induction at the academy in Warrington.
• Develop knowledge through mentoring and adapt to the Utilita way.
• Work independently in the field while engaging with managers and technical support.
• Provide technical support as needed.
