Job summary

Queensway Medical Centre in Preston seeks a Practice Prescribing Clinical Pharmacist to join a forward-thinking Medicine Management team. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centred care through medicines optimisation, prescribing, and leadership of the practice pharmacy function.

Role involvesClinical responsibilities including face-to-face and remote consultations, comprehensive medication reviews, and leading prescribing initiatives within the practice and PCN.

Qualifications

• Degree in Pharmacy and GPhC registration.
• Independent prescribing qualification required.
• Experience in General Practice / Primary Care.
• Experience in prescribing and medicines optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Undertake face-to-face and remote consultations.
• Perform structured and complex medication reviews.
• Independently prescribe medications within competence.
• Lead medicines optimisation and service improvement.
• Provide expert advice to clinicians and staff.
