A well-established community health organization in England is looking for a Qualified Mental Health Nurse or NMP to join their team. This role involves working closely with medical teams, prescribing medication, and reviewing patients in various settings. The successful candidate will help improve quality initiatives and support a diverse team dedicated to mental health care. This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary ranging from £47,810 to £54,710 annually.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well established community mental health team for older people. The independent prescriber role is a new post within the team so the successful candidate will be encouraged to work alongside medics and other leaders to develop the post and share ideas on how it is structured.
The Team includes experienced Consultant Psychiatrists, an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) and other Independent Prescribers. The successful candidate will have clinical supervision and support to embed themselves into the team and build confidence in the role.
The team also includes Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Support workers and admin staff. We are a close team and very supportive of each other. We welcome staff who share our ethos of providing high quality mental health care to our patients and their carers, whilst also taking care of each other.
