Job summary

Zest Optical recruitment is working with a well-established independent opticians in St Ives, Cambridgeshire to recruit a full or part time Optometrist.

This family-run practice offers longer test times, clinical freedom and a personalised approach to patient care, with testing 6 days a week and 30-minute sight tests. OCT and advanced retinal imaging are available, with involvement in contact lens clinics and ongoing care.

Qualifications

• GOC registered Optometrist.
• All levels of experience considered.
• Able to work independently when required.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Patient-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 30-minute sight tests with full support from the optical team.
• Assist in contact lens clinics and ongoing patient care.
• Collaborate closely with Dispensing Opticians and support staff.
• Work 6 days a week with alternate Saturdays.
• Maintain patient-focused, high-quality eye care.
