Job summary

Catering in Hemel Hempstead is seeking enthusiastic, reliable Multi-Drop Delivery Drivers to join a busy distribution operation. You will complete a daily route, delivering goods safely and providing excellent customer service at every delivery point.

You’ll work independently with full support from an experienced transport, logistics and operations team. You will carry out daily vehicle checks, load/unload a 3.5-tonne van, and use a handheld scanner to record deliveries.

Qualifications

• Experience driving a 3.5-tonne van and delivering on a set route.
• Ability to load/unload cargo safely with care.
• Strong customer service skills when interacting with clients.
• Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled multi-drop deliveries efficiently and safely across your allocated route.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service at every delivery point.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or concerns.
• Accurately load and unload a 3.5-tonne van each morning.
• Use a handheld scanner to check and record deliveries.
• Ensure goods are safely secured before leaving the depot.
• Carry out regular manual handling, lifting and carrying.
• Manage your daily delivery route and workload effectively.
• Maintain professional standards while representing the business.
• Follow all health and safety and safe working procedures.
