Job summary

A healthcare support organization in Bury is seeking a proactive Support Worker/Personal Assistant to assist a 31-year-old male with cerebral palsy. The role requires flexibility with hours, offering an hourly rate of £13.65 on weekdays and £14.18 on weekends. Applicants should have strong communication skills and a genuine interest in person-centered care. Full training will be provided for those without prior experience.

Qualifications

• Full Clean Driving Licence.
• Previous experience of working with individuals with cerebral palsy or brain injury (desirable but not essential).
• Experience dealing with clients with challenging behaviours (desirable but not essential).
• Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Support the client with daily living activities and community activities.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Promote an independent lifestyle for the client.
• Deliver care in a client's home with high standards.
