Walsingham Support is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help adults with learning disabilities live life their way. You will provide personal care, companionship, and support in a community-based setting, with full training and ongoing support from a friendly team.

No previous care experience is required; we welcome kind, patient people who want to grow and contribute to our charity-driven mission. This role offers meaningful work and opportunities to develop skills.

Qualifications

• Caring, reliable and patient.
• No prior care experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support to help her live independently.
• Support her to attend community groups, activities and events daily.
• Use your own vehicle or public transport to access the community.
• Support with oxygen needs after appropriate training.
• Encourage and support her independence, choices and interests.
• Provide companionship and help maintain an active lifestyle.
• Work confidently as a lone worker within her home and in the community.
