Independent Living Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Independent Living Assistant to join our team and support customers aged 50 in Stockport.

The Independent Living Assistant will provide a varied and appropriate programme of physical / health and wellbeing promotion activities based around the needs and wishes of customers aged around 50 living within a designated geographical area of Stockport.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in arranging outings and events supporting them to take the lead to ensure sustainability moving forward.
• Create a clear obvious and familiar avenue of support for customers living within the allocated geographical area.
• Generate and maintain regular contact, signposting any queries and support needs as appropriate.
• Maximise visibility by monitoring, inspecting and reporting issues sighted within the geographical area allocated.
• Assist Independent Living Officers and Seniors in the provision of a comprehensive housing management service by delivering excellent Intensive Housing Management support to all our customers.
