Job summary

Independent Financial Advisers is seeking an experienced Chartered Financial Planner to join our established advice business, servicing clients across West Cumbria. You will manage a growing portfolio of private clients, delivering holistic financial planning and building long-term relationships in a supportive, advice-led environment.

We offer fully employed roles with an existing client bank, consistent lead flow, full admin support and ongoing CPD.

Qualifications

• Chartered Financial Planner (or actively very close) with expertise in pensions, investments, retirement and protection.
• Proven experience in independent financial advice serving private clients.
• Client-centric, relationship-led adviser comfortable with regional/hybrid working.
• Existing client relationships are advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

The successful advisers will focus on delivering holistic financial planning, building long‑term client relationships, and growing recurring income in a supportive, advice‑led environment.

The Role

• Manage and develop an existing portfolio of private clients
• Provide holistic advice across pensions, investments, retirement and protection
• Develop new client relationships from high‑quality leads and referrals
• Maintain FCA‑compliant advice standards at all times
• Work closely with admin and compliance support

The Person

• Chartered Financial Planner (or actively very close)
