Job summary

Qualifications

• Extensive safeguarding and child protection experience.
• Experience chairing complex multi-agency meetings.
• Knowledge of Care Planning Regulations and IRO Handbook 2010.
• Understanding Working Together to Safeguard Children.

Responsibilities

• Chair Child Protection Conferences and Looked After Children (LAC) reviews.
• Coordinate and independently chair professional meetings such as POT and CSE Strategy Meetings.
• Quality assure and monitor Care Plans and Child Protection Plans, spotting drift or delays.
• Escalate concerns through the statutory Dispute Resolution Process and provide guidance to staff.
