Job summary

Searchandselect seeks a Non-Executive Director to sit on the boards of both a licensed banking entity and a trust company. The role is active and governance-focused, with attendance at 4+1 in-person board meetings per year, and responsibility for shaping governance and adding value at the highest level of a respected international financial services business.

Candidates should have a demonstrable banking background, understanding of trust structures, and be eligible for FSA approval.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable background in banking essential.
• Understanding of trust structures and fiduciary services.
• IoD or similar qualifications preferable.
• Proven experience as a board-appointed director in a regulated financial services environment.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain FSA approval as a Non-Executive Director.
• Strong independent judgement, sound commercial awareness, and personal integrity.
• Commitment to in-person attendance at board and governance committee meetings.

Responsibilities
