Hours & Location

Hours of work: Bank worker – hours will vary, between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday‑Friday as required.

Location: Home‑based with travel around the Nottingham area. Applicants should live in the Nottingham area, have a full driver’s licence and access to their own transport.

You will be expected to take a flexible approach and may be required to commute outside of your specified borough. Any such commute will be covered by our mileage policy.

Independent Advocate Requirements
  • Strong communication and time‑management skills to work remotely successfully.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, and the ability to learn new software packages such as client‑management databases.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate recording of records and timely reporting.
Desirable
  • Previous experience in advocacy, information and advice, or a similar role within health, social care or the voluntary sector.
  • Demonstrable experience working with vulnerable adults.
  • Working knowledge of public and voluntary organisations.
