Independence at Home Care and Support Worker

Location: South Denbighshire (Ruthin and surrounding areas)
Salary: Grade 4, £25,583 - £26,824 per annum (pro-rata)
Hours: 30 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

Responsibilities
  • Provide support to citizens to remain as independent as possible within their own homes and communities, based on agreed outcomes with the citizen.
  • Offer compassionate, caring support; role may include providing some personal care as part of the Locality team.
  • Travel within the geographical work area as required; a vehicle can be provided.
  • Engage in full induction, receive regular supervision, and access training and development opportunities. Seek opportunities for career progression.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Demonstrate a kind, compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Ability to travel within South Denbighshire; a vehicle can be provided if needed.
  • Appointment subject to Disclosure & Barring Service check, satisfactory references and registration with Social Care Wales.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and suitability for the role as determined by the employer.
