Job summary

Notre Dame School in Plymouth is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support classrooms and individual learners. You will work with teachers to deliver inclusive lessons and help pupils reach their academic and personal potential.

Responsibilities include assisting with learning activities, supporting students with SEND, and promoting a safe, respectful learning environment. Ongoing safeguarding training is expected.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum.

• Provide support to students with additional learning needs and learning plans.
• Help foster confidence, independence and positive attitudes to learning.
• Assist with classroom organisation and learning resources preparation.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
• Support in school activities, breaks, trips and safeguarding procedures.
