Job summary

Suffolk New College is seeking a Learning Support & Access Arrangements Manager at Ipswich or Suffolk Rural campus. The role is 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, with a salary of £43,269 per annum.

You will lead Additional Learning Support and Exam Access Arrangements across all sites, ensure effective resource deployment, learner-centred services and statutory compliance. The post requires a degree or equivalent experience, Level 3 qualification, and maths/english at Level 2, with

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent demonstrable experience, plus Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject, and maths/English to Level 2.
• Ideally with practical experience in JCQ Access Arrangements and Reasonable Adjustments (not essential).
• Experience in education/Local Authority environment and SEND Code of Practice knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead Additional Learning Support and Exam Access Arrangements across all sites.
• Deliver high-quality learning support and timely exam access assessments.
• Implement and promote assistive technologies to remove barriers to learning.
• Monitor impact and maintain statutory and regulatory compliance.
