Job summary

Glyn School in Epsom is seeking an Inclusion Tutor to join the SEND Team, supporting identified learners to access the curriculum with a focus on reading fluency, literacy development and inclusive learning practices.

You will deliver targeted interventions, track progress and work with colleagues to remove barriers to learning, building positive relationships with students, families and staff to foster an inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Have experience of working with children or young people in an educational setting.
• Be committed to inclusion and improving outcomes for vulnerable learners.
• The ability to build positive relationships with students, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support identified learners to access the curriculum with a focus on reading fluency, literacy development and inclusive learning practices.
• Deliver targeted intervention programmes, track student progress and provide personalised support.
• Contribute to removing barriers to learning and improving outcomes for students with additional learning needs.
• Work closely with colleagues across the school to support inclusion and the wider school community.
