Job summary

Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking an experienced Inclusion Strategy Manager to shape the future of inclusive practice across Wirral Schools and ensure that all children and young people with vulnerabilities or additional needs receive the right support at the right time.

You will work closely with school leaders, governors, elected members, health partners and council services to drive strategic improvement and create the conditions for every child to succeed.

Qualifications

  • Qualified teacher with significant experience of supporting children and young people with SEMH needs.
  • Strong leadership, communication and partnership-working skills.
  • Proven ability to develop interventions, deliver training and drive improvement across educational settings.
  • Commitment to inclusion, evidence-based practice and achieving positive outcomes for pupils.

About the Role:

The role involves working closely with school leaders, governors, elected members, health partners and council services, you will drive strategic improvement, strengthen inclusive practice and help create the conditions in which every child can succeed.

About the Candidate:

You will be a qualified teacher with significant experience of supporting children and young people with SEMH needs. You will have strong leadership, communication and partnership-working skills, together with a proven ability to develop effective interventions, deliver training and drive improvement across educational settings. A commitment to inclusion, evidence-based practice and achieving positive outcomes for pupils is essential.
