Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (full-time)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Inclusion Room Manager to join our pastoral team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about fostering an inclusive and supportive environment within an educational setting.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the inclusion room, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all students.
  • Implement strategies to support the social, emotional, and academic development of students with diverse needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to develop individualized support plans for students requiring additional assistance.
  • Provide guidance and support to students experiencing behavioral challenges, promoting positive behavior management techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of inclusion room practices to ensure effectiveness and compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Previous experience working in a similar role within an educational setting is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of inclusive practices and strategies for supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and parents/carers.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
