Job summary

Springhead Park Primary School in Ebbsfleet Garden City is seeking a dedicated SENCO to lead inclusion from Nursery to Year 6. You will oversee SEND provision, drive adaptive teaching, and collaborate with families and external partners to ensure every pupil thrives.

You will work closely with the Headteacher and SLT, developing staff capability, coordinating annual reviews, and shaping strategy as the school grows within The Primary First Trust network.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with a strong commitment to inclusive education.
• Solid knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processes.
• Experience leading SEN provision across a primary school from Nursery to Year 6.

Responsibilities

• Lead SEND provision and develop SENCO leadership across all year groups.
• Ensure adaptive teaching is embedded and training translates to classroom practice.
• Strengthen annual reviews, provision mapping and graduated support strategies.
• Coach teachers and support staff with a supportive yet challenging approach.
• Build partnerships with families, external agencies and Kent County Council.
• Contribute to whole-school self-evaluation and improvement planning.
