£16.70 – £18.24 per hour

7.4 hours per week, 52 weeks a year

Brighton Met College is seeking a dedicated 14‑16 Coordinator to support our partnership programmes with local schools. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about student welfare and education to make a real difference in young people's learning experience.

Working one day per week on Fridays, you will play a vital role in ensuring our 14‑16 students have a safe, engaging and valuable experience during their time at the college.

Key Responsibilities

• Student Welfare & Attendance: Check in with student groups at the start of each day to ensure wellbeing and readiness to learn
• Communication & Liaison: Contact partner schools and parents/carers to report student absences and maintain clear communication channels
• Safeguarding & Support: Work closely with the teaching team to ensure all students have a safe and valuable learning experience on site
• Recruitment Support: Assist with student interviews and support the application process for prospective 14‑16 students
• Management Liaison: Work collaboratively with the Teaching and Learning Manager to ensure programme effectiveness and continuous improvement
