Booker Group is seeking Inbound Logistics operatives for the Banbury site. You will sort, store and record returned equipment, unload backhaul and book into the system, supporting a busy warehouse team.
The role requires forklift/truck counterbalance, EPT and PPT licences, good numeracy and literacy, and the ability to work a 5 over 7 shift pattern with specific daytime hours.
Inbound Logistics as a function of the warehouse is responsible for all returned products, equipment, and paperwork. Opportunities are available for Operatives to join the Inbound team.
The prime objectives of the roles are to sort, store, record and return all equipment to the relevant supplier and to unload Backhaul collected on routes.
Ideally the candidates will hold a Forklift Truck/Counterbalance, EPT and PPT licences (training will be provided) and be physically fit, you will have good numeracy and literacy skills and be able to work a shifted rota; Having a good working knowledge of the Minster and voice system is desirable but training will be provided to the successful candidates.
Hours of work:
5 over 7 days. Monday to Saturday are our normal days of operation with a rest day in the week with every third weekend off.
Shift times are 12 noon until 20.30hrs Monday to Friday and 10.50 until 19.20 on a Saturday.
