As an In Work Employment Consultant you will help a wide range of people who have recently found employment and support them in the critical first 4‑8 weeks of their new role. You will be an effective communicator, able to positively influence, engage with recruiters and motivate people.
You will work in a supportive team environment, with autonomy to make decisions and manage time to deliver your role and meet objectives. You will meet a wide range of people, working collaboratively to understand their goals and areas where they may need support, putting in place an effective and engaging action plan to help them sustain in their new job. You will be solution‑focused and carry out proactive activities aiming to support participants moving into work, generating necessary performance activity to create opportunities for those you support, and engaging with stakeholders to promote participants’ skills and abilities for sustained employment.
You will bring experience in engaging with external stakeholders, providing support, advice, guidance or coaching to positively influence other people’s professional or personal development. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to build rapport and have a flexible, resilient approach.
