Job summary

Under Armour, Inc. in Bicester is seeking an In-Store Visual Merchandising Clerk on a full-time basis to lead floor sets, merchandise adjustments, and daily replenishment while upholding brand standards.

You will collaborate with store leadership to execute marketing directives, maintain a visually compelling and organized selling floor, and ensure safe, compliant in-store operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months working in a sports/fashion retail environment with advanced merchandising experience.
• Strong retail merchandising and visual skills preferred.
• Intermediate numeracy.
• Advanced listening and verbal communication.
• Fluency in local language.
• No disciplinary warnings in last 6–12 months and/or last two employers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute Floor Sets and company directed marketing and merchandising directives.
• Lead day-to-day store merchandising to maintain brand standards and accurate sell-through.
• Partner with stock team to ensure replenishment is properly executed—fill the floor, power closes/opens, and merchandise adjustments.
• Perform level-sets and push goods to the floor to maintain stock availability.
• Maintain brand standards of neat, clean, organized sales floor, cash wrap and fitting room; ensure a safe environment.
• Lead visual directives ensuring floorset mapping and execution within timeframe.
• Manage merchandise handling, shipment receipt, and backroom standards.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

• Positively impacting the customer’s experience in implementing Floor Sets and Company directed Marketing and Merchandising directives
• Assisting store leadership in all aspects of the Floor Sets, Merchandising Revisions, daily re-merchandising opportunities, and daily replenishment
• Maintaining merchandising standards to include Clearance presentation and all marketing, promotion and markdown execution.

Your Impact

• Oversee and execute Floor Sets and company directed marketing and merchandising directives.
• Lead efficient and effective day to day store merchandising by ensuring that the store team understands and maintains Under Armour brand standards and sell through adjustments are held true to the Floor Set overview.
• Partner with stock team to ensure all aspects of replenishment are properly executed - Fill the Floor, power closes, power opens and merchandise adjustments.
• Perform “level-sets” and make sure the store is replenished by pushing all goods to the floor.
• Maintain Under Armour brand standards of neat, clean and organized sales floor, cash wrap and fitting room ensuring store environment is safe for teammates and athletes.
• Lead all visual directives ensuring mapping and floorset are properly planned, scheduled and executed seamlessly within allotted timeframe.
• Supervise the efficient and productive handling of all merchandise including shipment receipt and processing, Floor Sets, markdown optimization and replenishment systems while maintaining backroom standards.
• Understand and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Leadership:

• Communicate clear priorities and productivity goals for Floor Set team and hold self and team accountable for achieving them.
• Recognize and communicate merchandising opportunities to store management in a timely manner; partner with Store Manager and/or stock team to develop and execute action plans for resolution.
• Hold self and the merchandise team accountable for maintaining a customer focused environment when operating during business hours.
• Proactively seek personal learning and development opportunities to build leadership skill set and enhance individual performance.

Omni-channel (if applicable):

• Build Athlete loyalty through in-store experience, through the use of Athlete data capture (where applicable), endless aisle and SFS.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 12 months working in a sports/fashion customer & commercial focused retail environment with advanced merchandising experience and comprehensive product, retail & industry understanding as well as with first supervisor experiences
• Strong retail merchandising and visual skills preferred
• Intermediate numeracy
• Advanced listening and verbal Communication
• Fluency in local language
• No indications of disciplinary warnings in the last 6-12 months and/or the last two employers
