Job summary

Arcus FM Limited is hiring an In-Store Cleaning Manager for Sainsbury's Holywood Exchange in Belfast. You will supervise the cleaning team, deliver a high-quality service in a fast-paced retail environment, and occasionally perform cleaning tasks yourself.

The role requires experience in team leadership, scheduling, stock management, and strong health & safety focus, with a flexible approach to hours across 30 per week (Sunday 08:00–13:00 and weekdays 06:00–11:00).

Qualifications

• Experience as a team manager in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Experience in cleaning operations and stock management.
• Experience handling employee relations such as investigations, disciplinaries and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the cleaning team to deliver a high-quality service in a retail environment.
• Carry out cleaning tasks as needed and ensure standards are maintained.
• Recruit, train and schedule the Cleaning team; manage rotas and timesheets for accurate pay.
• Monitor health and safety across the site and ensure compliance.

We’re looking to recruit an In-Store Cleaning Manager.

You’ll be supervising the team responsible for delivering a high-quality cleaning service to Sainsbury’s store, but you’ll also be carrying out some cleaning tasks yourself.

What You'll Be Doing

You’ll support with recruiting and training your Cleaning team, planning their rotas and work patterns, and completing their timesheets so that they get paid correctly.

You will need to have a degree of flexibility with working times required to meet business needs.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role you’ll be an experienced team manager who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment, with experience of cleaning. In previous roles you’ll have been responsible for stock management and time recording, as well as dealing with employee relations matters such as investigations, disciplinaries and performance management.
