Job summary

Community Integrated Care is seeking a Property and Housing Solicitor to join its in-house Legal team. You will provide specialist advice across the property and housing portfolio and manage a substantial caseload with autonomy.

The role covers acquisitions, disposals, leases, housing matters and risk management, with a focus on practical, commercially aware guidance. Hybrid working and a part-time option may be considered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with current practising certificate.
• At least three years' post-qualification experience in property and housing law.
• Experience across commercial and residential property, leases and housing matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential property acquisitions and disposals from due diligence to completion.
• Draft, review and negotiate leases, licences, tenancy agreements and asset management arrangements.
• Handle HM Land Registry applications, SDLT returns and other transactional requirements.
• Prepare papers and legal advice to support property disposals and trustee decisions.
• Advise on housing law, repairs, fitness, landlord and tenant obligations.
• Manage contested property and housing matters from pre-action to settlement or hearing.
• Draft pleadings, witness statements, disclosure, applications and instructions to experts.
