Are you a Qualified Solicitor with experience working as in in-house legal counsel or equivalent, specialising in corporate law looking for an exciting new opportunity to work for a prestigious, high end company that will invest in you and your career?

On offer is the chance to become a fundamental asset to the business. You will play a critical role in ensuring business operations are conducted within legal parameters. You'll be providing proactive legal counsel and strategic advice to various departments within the company, as well as assisting in legal negotiations and discussions with clients, partners and suppliers.

This company have been established for over 20 years and are a leading luxury superyacht company that provide a comprehensive range of services across the globe in the UK, Monaco, USA and New Zealand for ultra-high net worth individuals. They are a full service firm involved in every stage of a yacht's life from initial concept and purchase through to ongoing management and resale.

This role would suit a Qualified Solicitor with experience working as an In-House Legal Counsel or equivalent and has strong experience in corporate law looking to join an industry leading company that are offering an incredible package.

The Role

• Ensure business operations are conducted within legal parameters.
• Provide proactive legal counsel and strategic advice to various departments within the business.
• Assist in legal negotiations and discussions with clients, suppliers and partners.
• Review and draft contracts, agreements and policies to ensure they're compliant with legal requirements and company standards.
• Monitor any potential changes in legislation and current industry trends.
• Maintain and oversee company AML procedures and reporting requirements, ensuring the procedures are up to date with regulations.
• Provide training to compliance to the compliance team ensuring consistency in legal standards.

The Person

• Degree in Law (LLB)
• Strong knowledge of English corporate law with particular focus on Compliance and Regulatory Law, Contract Law, Employment Law and Dispute Resolution
• Qualified as a Solicitor with experience as an in-house legal counsel or equivalent
• Strong understanding of general AML and KYC concepts and processes
